Personal Experience

Ron Buck’s career spans over 25 years, showcasing a rich blend of management, investment banking, and C-level experience. Since joining Murphy Business in 2012, Ron has brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. His prior role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Republic Mortgage Insurance Company (RMIC) was a testament to his leadership and strategic capabilities. During his tenure at RMIC, he not only managed the in-house M&A group but also established and led a FINRA licensed broker/dealer, focusing on small to mid-market M&A, consulting, and advisory services.

Before his impactful time at RMIC, Ron honed his investment banking skills at Wachovia Securities, providing invaluable service both to the firm and its clients. His diverse professional journey also includes a significant chapter in the military, where he spent six years as a Naval Flight Officer in the Navy, adding a unique dimension to his leadership and strategic thinking processes.

· MBA with dual majors in Finance and Marketing from Wake Forest University

· BBA with a major in Finance from Emory University
